Concisely and precisely state the problem statement your team formulated and engineered a solution for. Thereafter, discuss your team goals, the approach or methodology (i.e. design methodology), then clearly state the results (i.e., machine envelop size, weight, etc.).

Report Body

1- Design methodology: failure criteria and reason(s) for selecting each criterion, material selection process.

2- Load determination, load path and components interactions.

3- Part #1: one figure that includes FBD (with Coordinate System), shear and bending moment diagrams (If needed). Discuss the details of the part design and analysis in one paragraph (200-300 words maximum). Discuss how this part is going to be manufactured (100 word maximum). Repeat this step as needed based on the number of parts you designed.

4- Conclusions.

5- Lessons learned.

6- Appendix: Include sketches, calculations, meeting notes, figures, reference material etc. Make sure everything is properly labeled so that if you need to refer to them within the text of the report, the reader can easily locate and use the information.
